The quote gives the viewer a specific observation. Introduce who ‘they’ are in your post or clip so the line makes sense outside the conversation.
Give the opening enough context.
A useful hook tells someone what the clip is about and gives them a reason to watch. Start with the guest's specific answer, story or disagreement. Keep the detail that makes it worth sharing.
Include a little of the conversation before and after the moment in your extract. Clypt selects continuous excerpts from the words you provide. Check that each quote keeps the guest's meaning when read on its own.
For LinkedIn and X, use the quote to introduce the clip in your post. The YouTube Shorts selections are shorter excerpts you can look for in the recording when choosing where to start a clip.
