I couldn't really get into tech out of the gate because I was an international student, and there were very few tech companies at the time that were sponsoring international students other than maybe a few consulting firms. And And so I started my career actually in finance, and that's what brought me to to California doing tech investment banking, covering software companies and Internet companies, semiconductor companies, all kinds of stuff at the time. And that got me into San Francisco and Silicon Valley.
