Well, just to reverse your figure, 55% of companies Do get. Do get relatively easily, funding. And also another dramatic one, 10 comp 10% or 15% of our companies do not get funding at all. Not private and then also not ours. There are two reasons for it. One is that we still have a lot of European countries, not in the Northwest, but we still have a lot of European countries without a properly functioning VC system.
About this clip
A panelist reveals striking statistics about European startup funding, noting that while 55% of companies secure funding relatively easily, 10-15% receive no funding at all. The speaker attributes this funding gap partly to many European countries outside the Northwest still lacking properly functioning VC ecosystems.
Why this clip
The clip provides concrete data on European funding disparities and identifies systemic gaps in regional VC infrastructure.
