Last updated: 13 March 2026

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of Clypt (“the Service”), operated by Clypt (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales. By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Clypt is a podcast repurposing platform that analyses podcast episodes, identifies clip-worthy moments, generates social media copy, and publishes content to social platforms on your behalf. We provide free tools (Try Clypt, Scorecard, Hook Generator, Title Analyzer) and a subscription product (Clypt Studio).

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Clypt, including audio files, video files, and any text you provide. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process, analyse, transcribe, and store it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You represent that you have the right to upload and process any content you provide, and that doing so does not infringe any third party's rights.

5. Generated content

Content generated by the Service (clips, social copy, scores, hooks) is provided for your use. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before publishing it. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI-generated content.

6. Social media posting

When you connect a social media account and schedule or publish posts through Clypt, you authorise us to post content on your behalf. You can revoke this access at any time by disconnecting the account in your settings. You are solely responsible for content published through your connected accounts.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems
  • Use the Service to generate spam, misleading content, or harassment
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where possible.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clypt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

10. Data protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
